The harbor pier was cordoned off due to a building site
so there was no way to get behind the vessel to take shots
of the rear and the only way to get a full side view was
from the other side of the river, but after a mishap
(tripping on a high kirb not watching where I was going)
skinned leg bruised wrist and finger I wasn't in any mood
to go across to the other side, when the sd card filled up
I was gladly on my way home crutch

Looking back I forgot to mention shot 8. That small cannon looks small enough and pointed in the right direction to do some heavy duty fishing. How many shots did you take to fill up your SD card? After a shoot I always copy to computer and delete so I have a fresh card each time. Ive taken almost 400 shots as the most during one shooting session and always had lots of space left over. By the way the Bounty looks absolutely immaculate. Hope its around for a long time to come.

The card took 95x2 shots raw and JPG to fill, I had other shots already on the card
in all I took 83 shots of the harbour, people and ships that day Smile

I'm sure the Bounty will be around for a while yet, it's not the original ship.

It was built especially for the movie 'mutiny on the bounty' the original was
sunk by it's crew to avoid capture after mutiny took place.

There is no charge to visit although they have a box for donations onboard.

I think I have a 2 GB card in my camera. I cant shoot raw so the files are smaller than what you take. But Ive had a lot of shots and still had a way to go before the card go anywhere near full.
