Nice shots. I like the second one for its sharpness and detail. The first one has an odd whitish glow around the edge of the castle. Its just enough to know the pic has been monkeyed with. well spotted.............. Smile .........musket

Pictures of old castles are invariably my favourite ones! And you're certainly good at it..Still, I can see some jpeg artifacts in both pictures around the edges especially signalling to a bit much sharpening imo! After all, 225k should be enough to display a picture about the size I see above.

Yes valid criticism......jpg artifacts are in all jpg photo's and the sharpening has made them more obvious especially in areas of strong contrast,

also the ant-alaising properties in some PC graphics cards produces visual jaggies in very sharp images......... Smile .........musket

I tried an edit with pshop pro9 jpg artifact removal and then noise removal. but it has brought up some white edges on the right top

when you correct somethings you cause others, it's all a bit of nit picking, Ha ha ha !!! Laughing the only people who see flaws are those

who are always looking for them Very Happy Ha ha ha!!!
