Great shot Mugmar. I wish I had the equipment to get the sharpness in some of the photos of the moon Ive seen. Your photo here falls into that category.

Thanks to all for the kind words.
The picture was take with a Canon 30D with the 100-400mm 4.5-5.6L lens. focal lenth was 400mm, exp 1/60sec @F8. Shot in RAW and tripod was used.
I still had to crop alot to get the moon to fill the screen. I can't wait for a nice clear night and a full moon!!!

Here is the original. Just converted to jpeg and sized for web

The picture was take with a Canon 30D with the 100-400mm 4.5-5.6L lens. focal lenth was 400mm, exp 1/60sec @F8. Shot in RAW and tripod was used.
