    Which Portrait Shot -- or is there a difference?

    Id like your opinion of which of these two portraits you like, if any. And why. Also if you dont like them at all. Anything so I can make up my mind. Thanks.

    Hey Bynx,

    I like the first pose better. I think a darker background without the picture and flowers would help. Also, maybe try a B/W conversion to bring out the textures in the face a bit more.

    Thanks Mugmar. I can take out the flowers but I dont want to monkey with the picture. Unfortunately I just missed his hair overlapping the frame. You know, as I sit here typing this I think I will delete the picture and flowers. Thanks.


    Ok here is the alteration. I didnt bother deleteing the painting but gave it a lens blur.

    Last one looks pretty good...one you could try the dragan effect with

    As far as the facial expression is concerned, i like his serious look than a less sure smile ; further corner of the photo should not have touched his head for better appeal i feel Very Happy
