1 Too Risque or Not? on Thu Feb 12, 2009 7:13 pm

This is a submission I made recently to a photo forum challenge. It was rejected on the grounds there was too much nudity. Id appreciate your honest appraisal and give me your opinion if there is anything at all offensive about it. This is a composite of two images. My son is holding the ring behind his back and the woman was shot at a separate time. By the way, the subject for the challenge was LOVE.

I don't know about rules in these kinds of challenges
so can't really give an opinion... Looks to me though
that the lady in question could be a shop mannequin or
from a painting by an artist, or from another photograph
or screen shot that was the work of someone else, that
might give rise as to not being all your own work and
therefore be in breach of the contest rules. character0053

As to whether it illustrates the theme 'love' may also be
open to opinions scratch

I think you still have seven days to find another entry if
it's the fujimug challenge Smile ............ goodluck musket

Thanks for your comments Musket. Yes, the challenge was for Fujimugs. Ive had a few problems with Dan the 'owner' there. Ive seen cheating going on and it was due to anonymous voting. I asked that they stop it and have open voting for everyone. He refused, afraid he would lose members. Now he is directing how I should take my pictures. He wanted me to make the woman more blurry. I made her blurry enough no one can recognize her. And there are no body parts showing which could be said to be obscene. She was, in fact, covered from neck to ankle. The Challenge is a lot of fun and aside from the anonymous voting, its pretty well run. He does allow anyone to come in off the street and start voting which I dont think is right. Being its only for fun, there shouldnt be any cheating nor any way to cover up the cheating when it is done. Its funny, there is always a major flaw with things that could easily be flaw free if only people would open their eyes.

I don't see any nudity out there...Even though I tried hard to see the thing that way..
well If the question of "love" as a theme arise... I feel , it is better to leave it to viewer.. Let them judge.... why the admistrator take the censorship charges......

Well Life is not always fair or so does it seems to me.. Any way Good Luck Bynx.. as Musket say Try another shot.. That is the most you can do

Hey Bynx,

I'm sure the contest is over by now, but we see nothing wrong with this photo. Maybe the judge was offended by the bare naked arm in the foreground sclindoeil

hahaha ya well it takes a sick mind to get their jollies when there is nothing to be seen. The contest has been extended for another week so its still ongoing.
